Bringing Everybody Up To Speed

Again, if we need to change something or do something different, or if I am WAY off let me know!

The Reunion:
Date: July 18, 2009
PLACE: The yellville place where Glenn and Cheri were married and where we've had SO many reunions in the past (DO WE HAVE AN EXACT ADDRESS SO PEOPLE CAN PUT IT IN THEIR GPS'S AND SUCH?)

Colors:
Cheri's Crew: light blue
Stacey's Crew: camo
Judy's Crew: green
Darrell's Crew: Red
Granny Sue: lavender

LODGING: Some are staying at the cabins at Buffalo Point Concesssions. See if there is space available at http://www.buffalopoint.com/

FOOD: I think what has been decided is that everyone bring a "main dish", a side dish, a bread, drink(s), and a dessert. Homemade, prepackaged, or pizza hut, it doesn't matter, but we'll all share! If you want to bring some burgers, hot dogs, brats or anything like that, Kent will have a big smoker there for us all to use! I think Kent and I will bring paper plates and ice for everyone, if someone else wants to volunteer for cups, silverware, napkins.

If you can't or don't want to bring food, that is OK, just email me privately at kent1skip2@cox.net and we'll make sure we bring enough and no one will be the wiser! We just want YOU there!


Some EXTRA items that you may or may not want to think about bringing:

-lawn chairs
-sunscreen
-swimsuits
-baseball/softball gloves/bats
-volleyball
-croquet set
-baby wipes so you can wipe any small child that has food on his/her face...all the moms will love you for it.
-water guns
-camera
-video camera
-photo albums
-horseshoe set
-MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, AMPS, MICROPHONES, OR WHATEVER YA GOT!
- $1 per person to reserve the pavilion for next year (optional, give as you feel!)


We need a volunteer to be in charge of getting every address and email address. Any takers?

Updated Info (correct me if I get anything wrong or leave anything out!)

Sue's Crew's ReUnion at a glance:

-Tentative Date is July 18th. (the weekend AFTER Marybeth's wedding celebration!)

-Cheri's Family will arrive in an icy-too-cool-for-school blue

-Stacey's Family will rendezvous at base camp, in camo (we'll have to look hard for them, they'll be hard to see)

-Darrell's family will come down in a blaze of glory decked out in fiery red.

-Judy's family will dance to their own Irish jig in ye old Kelly green!

-Granny Soup is the coolest granny EVER. And she'll be wearing lavender.

-PLACE: The yellville place where Glenn and Cheri were married and where we've had SO many reunions in the past (like when I was VERY young...a couple of years ago)

-People can make a little vacation out of this, or just show up for the day. They do have cabins right???

-We still need to decide on food....like are we going to do a HUGE potluck kinda thing, bring whatever you want? or are we going to do a more organized thing?

-We need to discuss cost, if any.

-I (skipper) will be looking to see if we can find some reasonable pricing on shirts...but everyone is welcome to do their own thing.


And just so everyone knows I'm paying for my raising with my daughter and prayers are appreciated.
